Welcome to GEM Travel, LLC! I'm Francine Ellis, the proud Owner and Travel Specialist. The inspiration for this company was born on the shores of Ghana during a special Sister Circle moment. 

GEM Travel was launched out of a desire to transition from a full-time career to fully embrace my passion for travel after reaching the milestone of early retirement. I proudly achieved that goal and retired in December 2023, opening a new chapter dedicated to helping others explore the world.

GEM Travel began under a Host Company to gain valuable experience, but after about a year and a half, I took the bold step to operate independently. Since then, GEM Travel, LLC has thrived with a fresh logo, a tax ID, and a comprehensive business plan—and I haven’t looked back. To further elevate my expertise, I earned a Certification in Hospitality and Tourism Management. My client base continues to grow as I confidently serve both new and returning clients, with a special focus on crafting group travel experiences for Empty Nesters.

As a Travel Specialist, I meticulously research and plan trips to a wide variety of destinations—whether by air, land, or sea, domestic or international. I’m passionate about helping Empty Nesters rediscover their love for adventure, exploring new cultures, and creating lifelong memories through extraordinary travel experiences.
